My name’s Adam Reuveni and I’m the Music Director here at Golden Era Productions. This is the music scoring room where I do all the music for our films, our videos, our ads and PSAs. I was working in this room with Ron during the time he was working here, between 2001 and 2012, when he abruptly left. Ron would work right over here and I would be right here, scoring my music. And what would happen is, I’d be trying to do the music and Ron was constantly interrupting, because he was always checking his phone for sports scores, ordering personal food, ordering exercise equipment, making random calls—anything besides being interested in what we were trying to do the music for. His just… his attention was just totally elsewhere; he didn’t care about what he was doing.
So the other thing that would happen is Ron would also constantly interrupt me. I’d be trying to sit here, have the music flowing, you know, getting it all put together, and Ron would constantly try to interrupt me and put in his ideas. He’d say, “Oh, wait! You need to try this! Do this! Do that!” He’d even push the person out of the way who was working here sometimes, because he felt whatever he was doing was the most important thing in the world, and we all had to sort of, just you know, show—back off and let him do his thing. And it was so difficult to work that I eventually had to ask him to start working in the other scoring room at the other end of this building here, because it was just so hard to work with him because he was just obnoxious.
