Ron Miscavige long ago exposed himself as teller of tall tales when he wrote “I have been told that, as adults, Ronnie and David couldn’t be more different.” While it’s true that there is a 180-degree contrast between Ron’s two sons, it’s the polar opposite of how Ron portrayed it. It was Ron’s younger son, David, who was the moral bedrock for the family, and his older son, Ronnie, who led an immoral life.
Consider that on the same day Ronnie was arrested for soliciting prostitutes and getting his mug shot taken at the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail in Williamsburg, David was in Israel opening a new Church in Tel Aviv. Representatives from all sectors of Israeli society expressed confidence of the Church’s vital role in restoring peace to the Holy Land.
Yet inexplicably Ron praises his namesake son, Ronnie, gushingly writing “I don’t think Ronnie ever gave anybody reason to dislike him.” Ron is again covering up, as Ron knows perfectly well that his two daughters had plenty of “reason to dislike” Ronnie, because he abused both of them. This was why Ron’s daughters had pleaded with Ron not to go live with Ronnie. Ron ignored their pleas and moved to live under the same roof as his namesake.
Sure enough, it took less than two weeks for Ron to learn how right his daughters were, as Ronnie was arrested as part of a larger FBI drug and prostitution investigation. The police report details 30 prostitution incidents in just two months, including one threesome involving “everything.”

Ronnie’s go-to authority in looking for prostitutes was the notorious sex hook-up website Backpage, a cesspool of human trafficking. The US Supreme court ruled 7-0 that Backpage was required to answer a Senate subpoena requiring it produce information about its procedure for screening sex trafficking ads. California Attorney General Kamala Harris called Ronnie’s favored website “the world’s top online brothel”, noting that investigators found “many of the ads for prostitution services involved victims of sex trafficking. Charges are still pending in California. Ron’s friend and failed blogger got paid “hush-money” to keep quiet about this backpage fiasco. It is shocking that Ron shares views with someone who said these people “were smart enough to start Backpage.com.”
Yet Ron writes about his year living with Ronnie as if nothing happened and life was idyllic in Southern Virginia: “At any rate, down in Virginia, Becky and I got along great with Ronnie and Bitty, and life was good.”
Ronnie was a regular visitor to massage parlors offering adult services, often making these visits immediately following Long & Foster real estate meetings across the Virginia landscape.
“Good” must include Ronnie ending his arrest with a “GUILTY” determination. Good must also include Ronnie’s wife, Bitty, leaving him as she was disgusted by it all. Ron didn’t mind, he took up duty as caretaker once Bitty moved out.
One would have thought Ronnie would have wised up after his arrest and stopped this behavior, but he didn’t. Ronnie was a regular visitor to massage parlors offering adult services often making these visits following Long & Foster real estate meetings across the Virginia landscape. This type of deviant behavior was going on right under Ron’s nose. Ron just covered it all up from the rest of the family.
It defies logic that Ron is surprised that is daughters don’t want to talk to him when this is the person Ron chose, the very same namesake son who abused Ron’s daughters when they were young.

It is shameful for Ronnie to go to massage parlors listed on backpage and other illicit adult services websites. It is also shameful for Ron to cover it up and give a prominent thank you “to my son Ronnie” when he is involved in such perverse behavior.
Ron shows that he has zero morals by praising a son who was arrested, while vilifying a son who is the moral bedrock of the family. One has to ask: why does Ron lie? What’s in it for him? The answer is the Real Ron Miscavige only $ay$ thing$ he think$ will make him $$$. The truth doesn’t happen to be be part of the real Ron Miscavige equation.
